Approximately 50% of the original lacquer
remains. The red hue of the tarnished bare areas tells of the high copper
content of this brass, very uncommon at this vintage. Lots of previous dent
removal, some re-soldered guards. The Good News: This is a Killer! Very
strong, powerful.
Pads are good, I will replace any which feel necessary, then thoroughly
regulate.
